Sunday Services

Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions,
many of our usual activities listed on this website are not running as normal.

Currently we only have a single Church Service at 10:15am Sunday mornings.
The service is recorded and, after editing, is available on-line at
usually by Monday morning.

Our Community Advocate, Ruth Peers can be contacted on 07543 958819.
For all other enquiries, please email
or call our Churchwarden, Graham Field on 07740 708611

Our Services, that we hope to be able to return to after the Covid-19 restrictions, are as follows : –

River and water of life prayer station

9.15am – Holy Communion

A formal sung service of Holy Communion with Hymns using liturgy from Common Worship. With practical preaching and teaching.

11.00am – Family Friendly

A service with a laid-back atmosphere, with contemporary worship led by our worship team.  The service usually begins with 20-25 minutes of worship – during this time we encourage people to participate in a way that helps them connect with God personally, sometimes with art, flags or dance.  Babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers are welcome to join the grown ups and we always have toys around so that they can have fun!  This is followed by a time of practical preaching and teaching. Once a month we share Communion with one another.

6.30pm – Evening Service

Our evening service comes in different flavours, depending on which Sunday of the month it is.

  • 1st Sunday: Going Deeper – Gathering together to focus on discipleship and living Spirit led lives a variety of worship styles, teaching and sharing.

  • 2nd Sunday: Iona – Reflective Celtic style worship using material produced from the Iona Community, Northumbria Community, etc.

  • 3rd Sunday: Going Deeper – a ‘Fresh Expression’ of contemporary worship with Video Worship Songs.

  • 4th Sunday: Taize – A meditative service which involves gentle chants sung by candlelight and periods of silence for reflection
